- LOGIFEM is and will keep striving to count new innovative and high value membership benefits. This unique formula, which is combined with a dedication to excellence, has enabled LOGIFEM to set new and higher standards in the logistics Business world.
- LOGIFEM works to enrich and expand its business frame by pursuing the sustainability through enaging women, promoting diversity, social inclusion, and accessibility for gender equality and equity.
- The main purpose of LOGIFEM is to build a specialized platform that assists its members to bring with solutions and strengthen their cooperation through real communication and time management throughout the supply chain.
- LOGIFEM aims to develop industry leading solutions to outstanding and opportunities that are usually and commonly faced by the best global independent freight forwarders and women specialists of logistics.
Network members will benefit from the following;
- Full access of LOGIFEM and facilities, our resources and network implemented by LOGIFEM for communication and collaboration within society.
- All LOGIFEM members are eligible to engage in LOGIFEM events, however the Financial expenses are to be covered by the attendees. The events of LOGIFEM will include;
- The annual LOGIFEM Conference
- LOGIFEM face-to-face meetings
- LOGIFEM webinars and other online events
- Technical accessibility to the website and WhatsApp group for directories and social media
- Reaching out to the women professionals in logistics and freight forwarding
- Strengthening the presence of women in logistics industry
- Establishing new partnerships throughout women logistics specialists.
- Empowering women labor force
- Streghtening the associations such as business and industries in global logistics sector and supply chain and project managements.
Eligibility for Network Membership in LOGIFEM includes the following:
- Agent/member shall fill in and complete the application form and provide additional documents requested by LOGIFEM.
- After checking the city is open in territories listed by LOGIFEM, the agent can join the network after completing the application form and any additional documents requested by LOGIFEM.
- A profile of each member company/agent will be published in the online Directory Members area.
- Agent/member will receive their login details and credentials to access the password protected by the LOGIFEM members area, which is only accessible to active network members only.
- Agent/member agrees to comply with LOGIFEM rules and regulations.
LOGIFEM members shall agree the following;
- To participate actively in the meetings
- By enabling and encouraging the sharing of local resources and knowledge related to LOGIFEM’s mission with other LOGIFEM members
- By enabling and encouraging local and international staff contribution and women contribution to collaborative activities (i.e. discussions, projects, committees, etc.) related to LOGIFEM’s mission;
- Each valued member agencies shall appoint a staff to represent them within LOGIFEM network in terms of collaboration, active participation and engagement.
- To pay annual LOGIFEM membership fees, and any other financial obligations related to LOGIFEM membership and program/events/meetings, within due diligence.
- To respect the integrity and exclusive nature of intelligence shared through LOGIFEM (i.e. surveys, documents, communications, etc.), in particular when these are intended priviliged for use or viewing by LOGIFEM members.
- The Agents must actively collaborate and cooperate in international logistics and freight forwarding. Each member will be responsible for the arrangement and provision of full logistics services in timely manner and transmission of necessary documents required.
- All requests for information will be actioned upon receipt by the agent.
- Members agree to transfer a growing percentage of their shipments to their fellow agents in the network.
- Agents/members shall have their details posted on LOGIFEM website/members directory based on their country and city of operation covered, where other members can easily find them using the Agent Finding tool.
- Members will provide evidence to demonstrate their cooperation within management and board with other members when requested to do so by LOGIFEM.
- If an agent stays inactive for more than a year occured, LOGIFEM has the right to communicate with them to discuss any issue with their business traffic or movement. LOGIFEM will try to find a solution in case or otherwise LOGIFEM can terminate their membership accordingly if necessary.
- The member agent shall make all related payments necessary before they are admitted as Members.
- After payments, members will be bound by the rules and regulations. They are expected to comply and abide by the rules and regulations.
- The annual membership fees are not transferable under any circumstances.
- The rules and regulations shall be governed by Turkish Law.
Membership shall be terminated in the case of the following:
- Voluntary withdrawal of the member
- Non-payment within regulated time interval.
- Non-Payment of annual fees in the same month of the renewal date.
- Death of a member working as a sole-proprietor.
- Any abusive or unethical remarks shall not be tolerated.
- Dissolution of a company while trading or sale of more than 50% of stock shares or any assets.
- Non-response to the accounting team of LOGIFEM.
- Disobedience of LOGIFEM rules and receiving complaints.
- Hold of any responsibility position of LOGIFEM network
- By the termination of any member, LOGIFEM and member agree to remove from the network and from any publication.
- LOGIFEM organizes meetings and annual conference to provide a collaborative platform for the agents.
- The meetings and annual conference provide an ideal opportunity to discuss business opportunities and meet both new and established LOGIFEM ladies and related members from all corners of the globe.
- LOGIFEM organizes meetings and conferences in different countries every year and the selected venue shall be as per the majority of the members choice.
- Before the general annual meetings, one to one meetings shall be pre-booked using the LOGIFEM online scheduler.
- LOGIFEM encourages every member to attend the annual conference and meetings, and will provide full support for them to join.
- Business collaboration is established during the meetings to discuss opportunities and build valuable partnerships. These events also have kind of a ‘social’ content where our delegates can relax and enjoy the local attractions. As a result, there will be a natural family environment.
- Same members are allowed to attend every meeting or event which will be held by LOGIFEM.
- The annual conference attendees will be nominated from the agent/member and there is no limit for the number of attendees per agent/member based on LOGIFEM and board approval.
- Every member is expected to respect the date, time, effort and attendance, and expense put forward by their partners to attend the meeting, and make themselves available for networking and business solutions that take place during the meeting.
- LOGIFEM agrees that meetings should be moved to various locations around the world every year.
